art institute Of Chicago & Cultural Center Engagement Photos with Rosa + Bobby

When Rosa sent me her inspiration and shared that her and Bobby were envisioning the Art Institute of Chicago for engagement photos, I was so thrilled. Morning of the shoot, I saw the sun up and knew we were going to get some amazing shadows in the main atrium. Following, we headed into the Art of Europe wing. I felt the warm colors and movement captured in these paintings would be a perfect backdrop for Rosa and Bobby’s gorgeous all-white looks. It is truly so special getting to create art in a place where art lives. As museum patrons wandered the halls, we found little rooms and corners perfect for some photos. We also planned the session to be during a slow time at the Art Institute, and having the opportunity to take photos in the main atrium was stunning.

My first time at the Chicago Cultural Center, I knew I had to bring a couple here. When Rosa started describing arches and large columns for the photos, I immediately asked if they would be up for visiting the Cultural Center. We only had a few minutes, but that was all we needed!

To finish off Rosa and Bobby’s session, we headed to Lassalle. Their wedding is booked at The Rookery, and they wanted some photos to use for Save-the-Dates and to replicate months later once they are down the aisle! We also had a special guest! Rosa’s sister brought Beau; they wanted some photos to frame as a family, as well as a good photo for their specialty cocktail in his honor at the wedding!
